FROM: Desert Rose Artists & Scholars Symposium
TO: Dear Friends,

The 7th Annual Artists and Scholars Symposium begins Friday evening, 17 February, and ends Sunday afternoon, 19 February. Now is the time to send Richard Dodge richarddodge2@msn.com your abstract or proposed presentation. It also time to register to attend the Symposium – online at www.drbi.org, by phone at 520-466-7961.

This is always one of the most interesting programs, as it is a mixture of papers, music, and artistic presentations. Treat yourself to an invigorating and inspiring weekend.

A Message from Richard:

It is time once again to be thinking about what you might like to present at the upcoming Artists & Scholars Symposium, taking place on President’s Day weekend, February 17-19, 2017. I know that there is a lot of talent and expertise out there, so please give it some thought.

The theme this year is “Our Place in the Natural World” which should attract papers and artistic or dramatic presentations related to the theme or to spiritual growth at all levels are welcome. Youth and junior youth activities are of special interest. The theme is not intended to be limiting, but is just a guide for thinking about your presentation.

I am eager to hear from many of you. Please send an abstract or description of your presentation (150 words, maximum), a title, and a brief bio (6 lines, maximum) to richarddodge2@msn.com.  Please send the bio regardless of whether you have sent one for previous conferences. We would also like to know about your needs for any audio visual support.

We are looking forward to a great conference. Click here for the Call for Papers which also includes housing and registration information.

Warm regards to all,

Richard Dodge
