Artists & Scholars Symposium: Participating in the Discourses of Society: Call for Papers

The Third Annual Artists & Scholars Symposium is scheduled for February 15-17, 2013, at the Desert Rose Baha’i Institute about an hour south of Phoenix, Arizona.

The theme of the conference is “Participating in the Discourses of Society.”

A call for papers and artistic or dramatic presentations related to the theme or related to individual and social improvement are welcome. All sessions are 60 minutes in length, including discussion. Multiple papers on a subject, panel discussions, and coordinated performances are also welcome.

Send an abstract or description of 80 to 120 words to richarddodge2@msn.com. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, January 15, 2013.

Those wishing to organize a session including similar papers or subjects should include a description on the session, together with individual abstracts for each part of the presentation.

The conference will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 15 (President’s Day Weekend), and conclude at 4 p.m. on Sunday, February, 17, 2013.
