Gaining the Habit of Daily Study
Crigen Richards of Auburn, Maine, is reading the Baha’i writings more each day as a result of studying The Promised Day Is Come:
My attitude toward reading the Baha’i writings has changed [as a result of studying The Promised Day Is Come.]. I am reading more each day than I was before this class. I feel more comfortable attacking the holy writings, probably because a great deal of this book quoted Baha’u’llah.
I have used parts of this book with the youth group that I teach. We are learning about Shoghi Effendi, and this fit very nicely into our program. I also will give a presentation to my Baha’i community. The best thing I have gained is a stronger appreciation for Shoghi Effendi’s work and a deeper interest in the Baha’i writings.
