“I Can’t Believe I Waited This Long” to Take a Wilmette Institute Course!

Keri Hubbard, a Bahá’í from Anchorage, Alaska, USA, can’t stop talking about The Secret of Divine Civilization, her first Wilmette Institute course. At her recent half-century birthday, she decided to learn something new every winter during the long, dark Alaskan winters. In addition to taking her first Ruhi class, she signed up for a Wilmette Institute course. Here Keri extols the course, its contents, its faculty (Necati Alkan) and proclaims herself a “new fan” of the Wilmette Institute.

“I am really loving this course [The Secret of Divine Civilization].  It is my first foray to this mode of learning—and I recommend it for anyone. It is an especially valuable experience for those who are isolated geographically—or for other reasons can’t get to conferences and trainings.  The additional reference materials and commentary are especially appreciated, and great care has been taken to offer up a wide variety of external readings. Also, I have appreciated the timely and thoughtful responses from the facilitator/mentor and others.  I am a new fan of the Wilmette Institute—and can’t believe I waited this long to participate.”
