`Irfán Colloquia Announces Dates for 2015 Conferences in North America and Europe
`Irfán Colloquia has announced its series of seven annual conferences to be held in North America and Europe during 2015. Three will be in English, three in Persian, and one in German.
The first two colloquia will be held, one in English and one in Persian, at the Bosch Bahá’í School, Retreat, and Conference Center in Santa Cruz, California, USA, on May 22–25. Then the colloquia move to Acuto, Italy, for two more sessions. A Persian conference will take place June 26 through July 1 at the Center for Bahá’í Studies, followed by a conference in English on July 2 through 5. The sessions begin on the evening on the first day and end after dinner on the final day. On June 28 there is an optional group tour. A fifth conference will be held in Europe, this time in German at the Tambach Seminar Center in Tambach, Germany, on July 23 through 26. The final two `Irfán Colloquia for 2015, one in English and one in Persian will be held at the Louhelen Bahá’í School, Retreat, and Conference Center from October 8 through 11. The `Irfán Colloquia are forums on studies related to the fundamental principles of the Bahá’í beliefs, the writings of the Founders of the Bahá’í Faith, the interface between the Bahá’í Faith and the current intellectual and religious trends, and the main challenges in human society. They take place in an informal and collegial atmosphere that provides a unique opportunity and friendly atmosphere for meeting and associating with those interested in systematic Bahá’í studies. They include intervals of musical performances. Participants receive a free set of current `Irfán publications.
