Nicola Daniels Added to Wilmette Institute Part-Time Staff as Marketing Coordinator
The Wilmette Institute is pleased to announce that it has added a second part-timer to its staff, Nicola (Niki) Daniels of Waterloo, South Carolina. A native of Jamaica, Niki has been a Wilmette Institute learner and faculty member and is currently a member of the Wilmette Institute Board and of the Regional Training Institute of the Southeastern States.
Niki’s title is Marketing Coordinator. She will be responsible for a number of tasks:
- creating videos
- writing emails publicizing Wilmette Institute courses
- hosting some live web video sessions
- updating the Wilmette Institute’s public website
- revising course materials on the Institute’s Cvent registration system, and
- assisting with setting up courses in the Institute’s Moodle course-management system.
Niki has experience with web software and video systems and deep familiarity with the Wilmette Institute’s programs. You may recognize her as faculty in a number of courses over the last seven years: Science and Religion (2010, 2012), Health and Spirituality (2011), The Bahá’í Faith: A Comprehensive Introduction (2011, 2013), The Life of Bahá’u’lláh (2011), The Badí‘ Calendar: Reshaping Our Material, Social, and Spiritual Reality (three times in 2015, 2016), The Five Year Plan (2016–2021: Completing the First Century of the Formative Age (two times in 2016), and The World Order of Bahá’u’lláh (2016).
With Niki’s help, the Wilmette Institute will aim for a new height in the quality of its courses and in its public web presence.
Niki joins two Dr. Robert H. Stokman, the Institute’s director, and two part-time staff : Candace Moore Hill, Course Developer, and Dr. Betty J. Fisher, editor of the Wilmette Institute eNewsletter.
