Office of Public Affairs Launches New Website

The Office of Public Affairs (OPA) has launched a new website: On the site you will find information about the work that the OPA carries out on behalf of the US Bahá’í community from its main office in Washington, DC, and from its satellite office located at the United Nations in New York City, which represents the US Bahá’í community to the United Nations and engages with the UN and civil society on a number of issues.

Among the things you will find are these: 

  • Work carried out in several portfolio areas:
    –          The advancement of women
    –          Human rights, including the defense of the Bahá’ís in Iran
    –          Sustainable development
  • Upcoming events hosted by OPA
  • Work involving public education, dialogue, awareness-raising, media outreach, and policy advocacy
