Father, husband, author and teacher, Roger has been on faculty for the Wilmette Institute since retiring from software engineering in 2012. He studied mathematics and psychology at the University of California, Irvine, and holds a BS degree in IT from the University of Phoenix. He is also a very active independent scholar researching the philosophy of science and religion and the cultural ecosystem surrounding modern anti-science movements.
Roger has increasingly dedicated intellectual effort to consideration two great principles that are core aspects of Baha’u’llah’s Revelation:
- the harmony between science and religion, and
- the independent investigation of the truth
He now sees these as intimately tied to each other and the development of skills realizing them in practical terms as crucial to the advancement of humanity in this age of crisis.
